I was wondering if Jarvis was in 616 and what he was like. The answer was. not at all what I expected and I kinda dig it. XD
it’s because jarvis - by which i mean edwin jarvis - is still very much alive in 616, he’s only recently(ish) semi-retired and iirc is living with janet and nadia van dyne (or was before the plot we do not speak of). jarvis as the avengers butler has always been kind of a standard, frequently featured character who has his own adventures with and without the avengers, so it’d be super weird if tony was using an ai based off him (not that it...stopped him with pepper and PEPPER but...).
i think...616 jarvis actually was faulty bc he wasn’t programmed while tony was in the best frame of mind? like it was post civil war, post the skrull invasion, steve was dead and tony took that harder than i can possibly put into words, and the green goblin had just been put in charge of shield and had tony as like...most wanted and he was about to go on the run in his brain delete world tour. so it makes sense that he wasn’t tony’s best work (sadly) and it wasn’t like there was actually a lot of time to recheck his code after the brain reboot, because tony and pepper were busy building a company from the ground up and also the mandarin was back.
