I think the thing I love so much about the BDO character creator is how much frickin’ personality you can get into their faces. These two are using the same exact class, with a base of three faces and we’ve got one cute and friendly outgoing warrior versus the reserved and enigmatic stoic with the thousand yard stare. Like, that’s what can be gotten out of it with just a few hours of practice.

I was too lazy to fire up DA:I and mod it up to theorycraft an Inquisitor Ellana appearance for In A Dreamer’s Eye. This is one of the ones I came up with in BDO. She’s cute, huh?

Ma’alin Lavellan and U’vunlea Sabrae

This is how you know you’re deeply embedded in writing a fanfic. This was my attempt to create a side by side comparison of U’vunlea (left), Ma’alin Lavellan’s mother, with Ma’alin (right) in the BDO character creator. I’m fairly satisfied with it. My attempts to create her in Dragon Age didn’t go as planned. I’ve always headcanoned her father as looking very much like Thranduil from LOTR, pale blonde hair and dark brows with a tall and lean frame. But her mother was a mystery, other than the fact that she resembled her, and the fact that she died young allows a more contemporary comparison. 

So, there you go. U’vunlea of Clan Sabrae, descendant of an ancient line (those amber eyes), and Inquisitor Ma’alin of Clan Lavellan, created using the Black Desert Online CC.
