Dead Steve agenda?

yes hello I am here on this earth to peddle the steve should have died in season 4 agenda (see also the angry robin arc agenda)

to go into season 5 on the coattails of killing off a character who has, up until that point, been borderline invincible with the kinds of hits he can walk off so that we (both the audience and the characters) are PAINFULLY aware of how high the stakes are, how much it's an "anyone could go" game??? THIS IS THE HILL I'M GONNA DIE ON SINCE THEY'VE ALREADY SQUANDERED THE OPPORTUNITY.

this show has a problem with claiming Great Stakes and never actually owning up to them and like refusing to show Lasting Consequences outside of a couple exceptional cases and they had the prime chance to do it but instead put poor steve through a pointless dead-end romance arc because they were scared of killing a fan favorite :/

would we have cried?? yes! but the Good Story kind of cry rather than the "that was a stupid writing decision" kind of cry

Blink lives theory!

Random thought I had while driving home (like you do).

Remember in 2x10 when Blink is able to redirect a bullet using her portals in a time longer than it should have taken for the bullet to travel? And she just explains it away with “it’s complicated, I’ll explain later” but never gets the chance to?

I bet her portals are able to dialate time as well as space, and something to do with that aspect will be how she survives.

Bonus round if she uses this to call for help. And John, even though he thinks she is dead comes to her aid.
