hm… its more complicated when racial analogues are actually mentioned in hsbc, because race and gender DEEPLY effect one another. i generally cannot relate to white transmasc experiences, and because theres a minimal black (or just brown lol) presence on this site, i’m more drawn to white tfem bloggers. the weird othering of queer individuals of marginalized intersections is something i’ve experienced. but that’s just a brief example.

previously ive been seeing takes on the lalondes being trans masc and raising an eyebrow at like… the demographic of fandom. sure there has been an influx of people drawing the kids as people of color but like... is that a factor. is anyone actually thinking about the factors and how that interacts with their identity. haven has put in that thought, but then i recall like the caucasionification that one person did to roxy’s sprite in pesterquest lol.
