everytime I think about how these two beautiful creatures are played by the same person I have a fucking whiplash
my brain simply cannot reconcile these two beauties together and it drives me fucking insane
Yes. Different shows. Different characters. Different everything. I KNOW.
But I’m not only talking about his obvious incredible acting skills.
because it isn’t only the characters or the stories that are different. It isn’t only the good boy versus bad/naughty boy which Mark and Joke both respectively absolutely fucking are.
it’s also in the small little details:
For instance, Mark would never, ever in his fucking life smirk the way Joke does
and Joke could never, ever give Jack the puppy eyes that Mark gives Vee.
Mark is polished
Joke is shaggy
Mark’s beauty is elegant [I could stare at this gif for literal hours]
Joke’s beauty is wild

Mark is all transparency, naivety and innocence.
Joke is all opaque layers, experience and maturity.
the way these two would not be able to stand each other says a lot about War’s range and I’m going insane, because they are played by the same fucking person with the same fucking face but they look so fucking different it renders me speechless.
and duh, I know, it’s called acting, but still.
he is that good, and it should be recognized, appreciated and celebrated.
