Honestly I never really thought I'd reach it but I'm finally at a place where I don't beat the shit out of myself when I finish my art for all the flaws and instead just let myself be happy and proud and like. Damn this rules.

I know it's not pride, but I don't care! Be proud of who you are friends!! Take shit from no-one! If they have a problem with who you are then ignore them. Or draw them doing something weird I can't control you!

Making this post as a shout-out to every queer person who is forced to hide their sexuality/identity because they live in a country/parents who are against LGBTQ+! As someone who's lesbian (or maybe bi I'm still figuring it out) and lives with parents who are heavily against that I know how tough and horrible it is to hide who you truly are and not being able to come out to them or express yourself without suffering severe consequences (in my case it'd probably be put in an institution/psych ward). Even if we can't do certain things in public or change our appearance because of the hate we'd get, we must still have hope because things are slowly changing! Perhaps in the future everything will be more peaceful, but until then we must stay strong and survive until we're in a safer space to be whatever we want to be! I know it's scary right now, but y'all got this, and even if you can't express yourself you should be proud of how far you've come!

With that, I wish everyone (both who are forced to stay hidden and those who already come out) a very happy Pride! Be proud of yourselves and stay strong and hopeful! 💙🐢
