You know, I wish Sherl’s plot line in LMJ/LMDA wasn’t immediately dropped (heck I don’t even think the anime tells us when Kat met Sherl or about his case at all), because I legit want to know more

Like you don’t just put a talking dog in your game, have his mystery be that he doesn’t know who he is or why he can talk, imply that he was once human but was somehow turned into a dog, have this whole thing be your intro to the game, implying it will have significance to the plot, and then just immediately drop it

*You pick up the phone and sneakily decide to see what he might be hiding. The phone seems to unlock without much issue, strangely, but you ignore it and praise your luck. Just as you are about to open an app, a shrill noise starts coming from the phone and you freeze.*

*Suddenly there is a noise behind you, everything going dark as a menacing shadow looms above you.*

*The sound of a guttural growl reverberates from the dark form as clawed phalanges suddenly creep at the edge of your vision. You feel your sins crawling down your back as the claws start closing around you.*

*But before the claws can close, your shaking finger manages to press on the picture app. You quickly try to focus on the tiny thumbnails, but only manage to see something fluffy-*

*Claws wrap around your head and everything goes black as a sinister laughter fills your ears.*
