So I wandered into Star Wars subreddit (well it was more recommended to me but eh) and uh...some people over there really do be doing incredible mental gymnastics and get insulted because they don't like that there's plenty people referring to Rey as Palpatine which she is.
We go anywhere from she wouldn't call herself that (sis, I wouldn't claim that family name out loud either but that doesn't mean she ain't one), to that she's actually an adopted Skywalker because she had personal relationship to Luke and Leia (ayyyyyy) and the adoption process was basically that scene on Tatooine where the twins look on while she buries the lightsabers and I'm just 'that's not how adoption works'. It really be like that huh?
