this might be a hot take, but the beach farm is not as hard as people make it seem. like yeah having no sprinklers can be annoying for some players, but if you upgrade your house to its third tier you’ll start getting deluxe retaining soil in shipping crates. and with those you dont even need sprinklers

this is for my elliott x mermaid farmer fic that I'm gonna start posting as soon as I get year 1 of my other sdv fic finished!
In terms of mermaid farmer, her name is Roisin and she is rather tall (and pink)
think like rose quartz but less deadbeat gem mum and more big pink mermaid who is very curious

but anyway, what title sounds more fitting for a fic about these two?

This was a fun farmer to make; most farmersonas tend to be young 20-somethings, but I wanted to make one that's just a bit older (she's actually a few years older than Elliott, I headcanon them as 37 and 34 respectively during Year 1)
Kaitlynn actually loves all flowers, but I wasn't about to fill her entire Loves with flower sprites....she's also good friends with anyone who has a loved flower (like Evelyn and Caroline)
She absolutely has beef with the local lingcod population...
She adores both of her ginger boys~ Seriously, she and Elliott are both ridiculously enamoured with each other, it's like Morticia and Gomez levels of besottment
Kaitlynn's playlist could honestly just be the entire album Come On Over by Shania Twain (in fact that's her voice claim), but I figured I ought to add some other songs for some kind of variety lol xD (Maybe soon I'll make a playlist specifically for her romance with Elliott, bc that has its own slightly different vibe)

a few days ago i decided to start an idle stardew valley world where i’m playing as Gideon, with the goal of “gideon has a nice day”
some of the objectives/rules i’ve set myself:
-no planting crops, until i have sprinklers. griddle can’t be bothered!
-minimal talking to people, at least for now — she’s given gifts to a few people wordlessly and then walked off. i also turned portraits off to make things feel more detached
-try to reach level 10 combat as soon as possible. she’s studying the blade!
So far i haven’t made much money, but i’ve gathered a lot more materials than i usually would’ve at this point in the game. i’ve upgraded the axe and pickaxe already, and found several rare items like an ancient seed and a dinosaur egg, and it’s only my first summer. not worrying about crops frees up so much time! a coop is being built now. I’m thoroughly enjoying Beach Bum farm, and i like to think farmer Gideon is enjoying herself, too!
Besties, we're back into our Stardew Hype for the upcoming 1.6 Update!!! So ya girl is living it up on her Elliot Romance Run to get back into the swing of things!
I apologize for being MIA for a bit, but works gotten busy with the Holiday season creeping in. I've been wanting to do a little more with my art and give Backgrounds some more practice so it's been taking a wee bit longer to get pieces done!
But rest assure I'm still working on fun stuff for your beautiful eyes!
Beach Farm update... last day of Winter year 3, First day of Spring Year 4.
This is the year I plant all the ancient seeds outside. The greenhouse is fully stocked with all the seeds I need for one time grows and all the repeat crops are all set and planted in there.
I also plan to finally get married. I'm actually in day 3 as I write this. I asked Seb to be my boyfriend and I plan to date him for a season or 2 before getting married. I've got to finish the skull caverns and kill all the dinos and flying serpent things for the Adventure guild, get popular with the rest of the locals, finish decorating the dwarf's cave, stardrop saloon, krobus's sewer... train station.. wherever else, plant trees around the desert for later chopping...
Then I'm going to prepare to finally get over to ginger island. I've been there once recently even though I repaired the boat the first week Willy allowed me to. I need those banana and mango trees!
Pardon the tilt shift blur, i woke him up and he said this, so He's ready. Check out how I kinda decorated his room a little! Just a few carpets and things. I should put some tables along the bottom and put his favorite crystals on em - just thought of that :)
