Move around, drink water, sing or recite poetry. The first two dilute stress hormones, the last focuses you mind somewhere else! I sing songs in French, because I don’t speak it and have to really concentrate on proper pronunciation.

I’m so going to save this somewhere for future reference, thank you!  Now I just need to go drown the built-up tension somewhere

I was tagged in this by @twangcat; apparently one goes to page 7 of a current WIP, skips to the 7th line, shares 7 lines (or however much you want), and then tags 7 more writers to continue the challenge. 

*snort* Like I have a WIP that is seven pages long?  They’re mostly bits and pieces right now, nothing coherent.

So, instead, I will just skip 7 paragraphs, not seven pages.  That counts, right?

This is from an upcoming (sometime… eventually) sequel to Cognitive Recalibration, Scooby Style, where Buffy opens her big fat mouth and lets the Avengers know that Phil is currently somewhat more alive than a Norwegian Blue Parrot:

“Sure you wanna be wise-cracking with me right now, Phil?  ‘Cause the way I see it, any second now the Playground is gonna be under a one-man assault by a grief-maddened superhero out for an explanation and a reckoning, and if you survive that, THEN you’ll have to answer to the rest of the Avengers.”

“Point,” Phil sighed.

“Of course I have a point, I always have a point, and usually I have several points.  Personally, I blame your old friend, Rupert.  This has his fingerprints all over it.  ALL OVER IT.  In his defense, I’m sure the man is as sick as I am of hearing your odes to the Barton posterior, but this is not the way to go about fixing things, goddammit.”

“… There were no odes.”

“Cheese, there were odes, there were dirty limericks, there were motherfucking sonnets.  And not just to his ass, but also to his biceps, his eyes, his smile, his abs, that deep lunge thing he did to warm up before missions….”

SGA McShep 50K no It all started, as these things do, with mission, a shaman, a vision quest ceremony they decided to participate in to be sociable, then all of a sudden, things weren't so ceremonial... Gets down to the heart of what animal transformation is *supposed* to be about: self-transformation.

1. I’m one of seven children, eight if you include the neighbor kid we all but legally adopted.

2. I have a identical twin, who is 5 minutes older then me.

3. I am a INTJ for Myers Briggs type indicator test.

4. My earliest ships was Milo and Kida and Chack.

5.I’ve been writing poetry since Middle school.

6. My senior year of high school, I had the same number of poems in the Literary magazine as the school’s intellectual prodigy.(He was the class president, teachers pet, theatre nut and spoke like 3 languages fluently)
