The Comic will be released on Blu-ray on August 25 via Arrow Video. Twins of Evil designed the new cover art; the original poster is on the reverse side.

The 1985 British dystopian oddity is written and directed by Richard Driscoll (Kannibal). Steve Munroe, Bernard Plant, Jeff Pirie, Bob Flag, Vass Anderson, Simon Davies, Gary Twomey, and Berderia Timini star.

The Comic has been newly restored in 2K from the original camera negative with original uncompressed mono audio. A collector’s edition with a slipcover featuring alternate art by Twins of Evil will also be available. You can see it below, along with the extras.

In a dystopian police state reality of indeterminate time and place, orange bouffant-haired comedian Sam Coex is eager for his big break. Realising that desperate times call for even more desperate measures, he slits the throat of his rival Joey Myers, leaving the way clear for him to carve his own niche on the comedy circuit. But success can be a fickle and fleeting mistress, and Sam soon finds his career on a downward turn when he falls foul of the powers that be.
