Dark Matter This is a total celebration of shape and texture. Matte pencil-lead gray and Hex-cut AB transparent Olive. Because there is so little color but so much depth, I shot stereoscopic pairs. The idea here is to cross your eyes, then relax them until the image focuses in the center to render a 3Dimensional image. The top pair form a crossed-image which suits most people, but I know some people for whom it works better with a parallel pair. The bottom Image is a parallel stereoscopic pair.

Ostara I tend to be conservative with color, so I wanted to push myself for this piece. I am pleased with the combination of opaque and transparent beads which changes the appearance of the star when backlit. It reminds me of Easter eggs so I named her Ostara and because Ostara is a Spring goddess, I planted some glistening green seeds at her core. These are visible through the opening in the structure.
