Stories
Every piece has a story
This bracelet was made for a dear friend and many tiny details went into it!

Inspiration and the resulting design: This three-strand Swarovski crystal necklace and earring set was created for one of my friends. The inspiration comes from when my sister and I went out to visit her. One of the things we did was watch the sun set off the Santa Monica Pier. It was so beautiful that I decided to use it as inspiration, combining the pink crystals with the sand to highlight the sun's pink glow. It was so much fun to make!
Rainy Day Earrings
Making some earrings for loved ones on this rainy day. Sand from Iceland, Egypt, and Igiugig, Alaska (respectively). I love this mother-of-pearl earring design. It's so simple and classy. And I LOVE that these beads, made from sand all around the world, are going to make their way to Australia!
Hydrangea Rosary
I made this one-of-a-kind rosary because the lavender color of these beads reminded me of the beautiful hydrangeas that bloom on the Cape every summer. To round off the whole theme, the pater beads are made from Cape Cod sand!

Baluva’s Wire-Wrapped Malas
These beads are made from desert sand given to me by a friend. I wire-wrapped them into a 108-bead mala. The sand turned out absolutely beautiful and looks gorgeous with the bronze wire. I absolutely love the red soil and hope to get to the American Southwest some time to see it for myself!
