Ron and Harry sit comfortably in the Gryffindor common room. They decided to not go to Hogsmeade with the rest of the Hogwarts students.

Harry: “ that was almost... you haven't actually lost anyone from this war Ron! (Harry stands and begins to slightly pace back in forth in front of Ron) you have parents, you have siblings, you have a fucking house filled with love and happiness! I have one inherited from my dead godfather, a house filled with memories of abuse and anger! ( He takes a moment, tears have gathered in his eyes. His voice is now deadly calm but filled with emotion)... you want to complain about almost when I have nothing.” ( They're both quite for a moment. The air was filled with the wait from what was just said)

Hermione and Ginny are walking through the castle, on their way back from Hogsmeade. They decided to back back early because it was getting a little bit too cold for them and they missed their close friends.

Ginny: “No way!” (she grows quiet and develops a somber expression) “...Harry only has nightmares. “ (Hermione stops her climb of the steps and looks at her boyfriends sister.)

Hermione: “Ginny...”

They stop in front of the portrait entrance to the common room. They both lean in hearing yelling and recognising the voices.

Hermione looks towards Ginny and steps towards the portrait inaudibly says the password.

Ron sees them come into the common room and is happy to have his two favorite conflict resolutioners back.

Harry: “ You want to complain about almost when I have nothing... so no Ron, I won't talk to ginny about leaving the war. “

(Ron nods along enthusiastically with a smug and comical smile. Ginny turns toward Ron, eyes narrowed and takes a step forward)
