Day 7: Bones
Rare sighting of a wild Robbie in his natural habitat going for his next meal. Vicious animals they are. xD
so i told my sister that i have "such bear legs" because i havent shaved since no shave november and she replied back "then how are your legs bare?"
In summer you get bare legs, in winter you get bear legs.
the great thing about not being in any kind of commitment with a guy is that i don't have be shaving every other day
Eavesdropping on my roommate on the phone:
"No, I don't think I'm going to go bare legs..."
Oh, so that's why you have those disembodied furry legs in the closet! Just in case you wanted to go with your bear legs for the party!
The Ballad of Bear Legs
Today has been the laziest day ever.
I went to bed last night at literally, I kid you not, 7:00 PM.
And then I woke up this morning at 11:00 AM...
because I'm ridiculous. I then proceeded to lay around and do nothing for two hours and now I'm hungry.
And we don't have a lot of food in the house.
So I gotta go deposit a check and then go grocery shopping. BUT in order to do that I have to take a shower because I'm slept-for-a-long-time gross.
And I really should also do some dishes and laundry.
And I have a concert to go to tonight.
Which means I need to wear capris because the concert is outside and this is motherfucking Texas.
But in order to wear capris I'm going to have to shave my legs and this will be a TASK. I don't really like to shave my legs. I always end up with Razor burn and I especially end up with Razor Burn if I shave my legs more than once in two weeks. (sensitive skin man. Fucking sucks.) SO no matter what at SOME POINT my legs are going to be hairy and there will be nothing I can do about it unless I want to bare the agonizing pain of razor burn. Instead of trying to find away around that fact, I simply try to find a way around shaving my legs.
At all costs.
Which leads to bear legs. Which, to be honest, I don't mind because I take no stock in the "beauty" of ones legs, but bear legs mean two things:
1. Bear legs are incredibly hard to shave in one go because THEY'RE BEAR LEGS.
and
2. Bear legs are, for some reason, considered horrifyingly faux pas when seen on a LADY.
I don't really get it. Hair is hair to me. It's a natural thing to have, but alas, I conform so to avoid people making this face at me as I walk by:
