With Please Please Me out for less than four months, the Beatles began recording songs for their next long-player in mid-July 1963. The band's intent was to release two albums and four double-backed singles each year. They were generally able to maintain this exhausting recording schedule through 1965.

I'll just copy and paste a comment I recently left on Reddit re: With the Beatles:
I love it! It's got some great tunes that are just fun, like "It Won't Be Long" and "I Wanna Be Your Man." George is a delight on "Roll Over Beethoven" and "Devil in Her Heart." Paul sounds like a dream on "Till There Was You." I'm even fond of "Hold Me Tight," although I get it mixed up with "Little Child" sometimes, for some reason. I feel like "Not a Second Time" would have been a stronger finish than "Money," though.
I also love "Don't Bother Me," and oh my God, I just now realized that "With the Beatles" has three songs sung by George on it. I thought "Revolver" was the only one. (The White Album has four, but it's a double album, of course.)
