TBR 2020

While my TBR keeps growing and growing, I keep trying to make a dent in it. I joined #Beatthebacklist to priorities books that have been on my TBR (sometimes for years) instead of reading newer books. 

To motivate myself for these challenges I have made a top 20 of Backlistbooks I want to at least get to this year. Please help me get excited for them by telling me which ones you have read and liked.  😊 In no particular order:

The eye of the world by Robert Jordan (has been on my physical shelf for almost 10 years  🙄 time of finally read it this year right?)

Beat the Backlist 2020

I have so many books on my ‘want to read’-shelf on Goodreads, and I should really read more of them instead of just constantly adding new books.

So in 2020, I’ll make it a goal to read as many of my TBR-books as possible.  Especially the ones that have been left unread on my shelves for a couple of years. (I have already done something similar in 2019, but I have never tracked any of it before.)

#BeatheBacklist 2020 update

In the beginning of this year, I joined the BeatTheBacklist 2020 challenge, to finally tackle my evergrowing TBR. I made a top 20 list here and while I have been doing pretty okay: 7 of of 8 books read are from 2019 or before. 

But I have only read one from my top 20 thus far  😆 It is so easy to get distracted when you find an awesome book and find out after that that it’s a trilogy or something. Maybe I’ll print the top 20 post and hang it next to my shelves or something. There are books on there which have been there for 10 years already and I still want to read them!  😅
