Just One More Page BPC: June 1st: Introduce Yourself
The best way to introduce myself is just to post a photo of my shelves/living room.
January to June
Well here we are halfway through this truly bizarre year. These are my six top fantasy books I’ve read so far, not including rereads. And yes, there are two by Jo Walton because she’s awesome. I actually held off on reading a third book by her because I wanted to save one for the second half of the year haha. Or What You Will doesn’t actually come out until July, but I was lucky enough to get an ARC.
Down Among the Sticks and Bones (Wayward Children #2) by Seanan McGuire
Tooth and Claw by Jo Walton
The Light Between Worlds by Laura E. Weymouth
The Queen of Nothing (The Folk of the Air #3) by Holly Black
Or What You Will by Jo Walton
House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig
Project Monsoon Clever colorful street art that only appears when it rains
After the Superhydrophobic Street Art, which uses a superhydrophobic coating to create designs which appear only in the rain, here is the Project Monsoon, which uses the same concept, this time with hydrochromic painting, which reveals its color only when wet. This amazing and clever project was designed by a Korean team of designers, in collaboration with Pantone, to provide color to the streets of Seoul during the rainy season, while paying tribute to the Korean culture. A brilliant idea! Source: ufunk
The world is filled with such wonderful things.
Screw it. Let the fates decide.
I wish for the thing that is best for me.
