I'm so sorry you're going through a tough time right now. My hope is that when you come out on the other side of this, you'll see that the struggle, no matter how hard, only made you stronger in some way. But until then, I'm sending you the biggest hug.
For you to be going through something, yet still take the time to send such a kind message—it truly means the world to me. I've come to terms with the fact that my OC fics have a smaller audience, and that's okay. Because every so often, a message like yours reminds me why I love writing. The idea that something I put out there could provide even the smallest escape for someone means more than I can ever put into words. So many writers on here have given me the same sort of respite I needed from my own world, so to be able to do that for someone, wow - it really means everything.
Despite whatever you're going through, you made a point to send something that made my day/week/month. I can only hope that someone comes along and supports you in the same way.
