ABOUT THE SONG I wrote this song when I was 20 years old. It's actually been a really sad and poignant week. The vicar of the church I grew up I died this week. He was always kind to me and let me rehearse in his church, where I wrote songs and rocked out making loud noises until 3am some mornings. On sundays in exchange I'd play music for the church service. This song is about the safe space Peter created, he'd welcome all the homeless people in the area to come and eat lunch with families with new born babies. This song is about acknowledging the beauty in all our brokenness. I'm glad it's out in the world now. It only took 10 years..
