Day 225: Counting Every Star by BeautyHeldWithin

Title: Counting Every Star Author: BeautyHeldWithin Main Character(s): Kurt & Blaine Rating: M Status (As of date of post): WIP Summary: A broken Kurt Hummel ran away from his failures to spend a summer with his Aunt in picturesque Cape May. There he met met a mysterious renaissance man who would make Kurt open up and turn his world and everything he believed on its head. Why I love it: This story is extremely intriguing and mysterious, and I love that! There is so much that we don't know yet in this story, but that just makes it even more fun to read, trying to figure out what is up before we get told! I've often read stories where a 'broken Kurt Hummel' gets sent to Dalton, but seen very few where he hides in a completely different town (except for the ones where his dad dies... but those are completely different!), so the whole story is just something new and exciting for me! I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of this story as it gets posted, and I encourage everyone to read this story if they like stories with a hint of mystery and an original storyline!

Title: Daddies' Girls Author: BeautyHeldWithin Main Character(s): Kurt & Blaine Rating: T Status (As of date of post): WIP Summary: It has been ten years since Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson broke up and split their family apart. Now, the two girls meet for the first time and scheme to get the happy family they never knew back. Based LOOSELY on The Parent Trap. AU Why I love it: When I was young, I remember watching The Parent Trap once and loving it, so I decided to give this fic a chance, and I'm glad I did! I love seeing how the two girls have different aspects of their dad's personality: Natalie has a moisturizing routine and dresses extremely well, and Haley is a lot more laid back and creative. I usually don't read stories that feature Blaine and Kurt as dad's (I know, I'm weird!), but this one is really well done, and Kurt and Blaine are written wonderfully as well! You can tell they have matured a bit since high school, but they are still very much the Kurt and Blaine we know and love, which is great! I am definitely excited to watch this story progress, and I encourage you to read it and do the same!

Day 45: Once in a Blue Moon by BeautyHeldWithin

Title: Once in a Blue Moon Author: BeautyHeldWithin Main Character(s): Kurt/Blaine Rating: M Status (As of date of post):  WIP Summary: AU. Kurt Hummel is at the lowest point of his life, he finds happiness in Blaine Anderson, a boy from a completely different world who is a mystery to him. Why I love it: Okay so I live on a farm, so I usually enjoy fics about New York and such because living in a city sounds awesome (and I live close to a city, but it's not the same), but every now and then a fic with a farm will stick out to me and I love it. In this story, Blaine lives on a farm and is all adorable with his country ways, and Kurt is Kurt, fashion-forward as ever, so to see the two worlds collide as they become friends is really cool. I also love how the author has added some plot points that are a big mystery that I have no idea how it's going to turn out (other than a Klaine!endgame...I think!), but I know its going to be fantastic, and the air of mystery around the story is fabulous. Try the story out, it's really cute and mysterious, and she`s been updating it really frequently!
