Now let me deep dive, but first lets seperate some rows, and lore drop timeee
Jack is up first, the local gas station clerk who is a unicorn by the way. It's not easy to tell, his horn was shattered into bits after the 'incident'. He's apathetic, just doing his job and he wasn't a big magic user anyway. Sometimes his horn sparks with what little magic he can use, since it's broken it happens unexpectedly and usually when Jack is stressed. Jack doesn't believe Alicorns were ever a thing, this seems to take place almost a century after they all just,,, Disappeared, turning into myths.
Jerrys next! First seen with a cutiemark related to the mathematists, which he put on via make up (kind of like how starlight did) he just seemed like an annoying cultist pony at first. There is a lot to him, first off his parents own the very sketchy rainbow factory in clouds dale which is how they become so very rich. Jerry completely avoids anywhere near that cloud town, because despite owning a rainbow factory they still couldn't handle their son being queer, which is a dead give away with his cutiemark and personality. He was interested in Jack at the start, just thinking he was an odd but fun to talk to pony. He is extremely energetic so of course you usually see him flying or bouncing along. (Kinda like pinky)
Rosa finally, alot of the same things as normal apply. Though with the dark tree god now inside her, every time he comes out she transforms lightly from all its power into this false alicorn, all this power is very draining for the poor girl though as well as the transformation seeming to hurt. She never asked to have the dark god inside her, but its not planning on leaving anytime soon.
Benji, he's a pegasus so nowhere is really safe from him. Though do to his tough size he is more of a glider than a flyer, he is very intimidating and towers over most regular ponies, when he opens his wings it almost seems like he's taller. He still hunts creatures for living but his cutiemark (which he has hidden) is surprisingly, not related to that. He does a lot of poetry in his spare time, and he covered the mark because it just so happens to be related to his fun little hobby.
Travis is a deer, and his whole little group are deer as well, they were never ever fond of little ponies on their terf and when a local doe went missing (Vanessa) they finally had enough. Travis here doesn't have antlers (thanks to a trans headcanon me and my partner share) he put on sticks though, still wanting to look tough especially when going to join his friends in beating up the gas station ponies. He's not all redneck though, liking star signs and the concept of magic that the ponies have. He bothered Jack about wanting to see his magic, but the clerk can't do much magic anymore. At some point Travis got replaced by a changeling but he doesn't seem to be aware? Well he doesn't need to know the details.
Spencer, now also a threat in the skys. He always has to be on the winning side, if that torn checkered flag cutiemark has anything to say about it, he isn't loyal and he is dangerous. Jack has gotten on his nerves for too long the clerk better watch out. Spencer has worked for the Changeling king and the Wooden Alicorn, two major threats, just him trying to stay on the winning side. You'll never know where he's coming from since he's got wings, but I'd say Jerrys pretty good at being a look out.
Beaux, he is something. Not much to say, still pathetic and an idiot, his cutiemark is a piss glass because he has no actual talents beside that one time he pissed on the school floor. Who cares about beaux, he trys to cover his shame but its still their. When he becomes a half goat he just gets twice as short as before and even less threatening.
Amy of course screamed pegasus to me, absolutely unstoppable and smart. Jack should be glad she trusts him so much, would not want to get on her bad side. I see her as very motherly to him, even when shes a bit mean at times. Takes her job really seriously though.
Tony, a very anxious and exhausted looking guy that totally doesn't try to kill Jack at all. He's an earth pony not really seeming like he has much going on, and Jack isn't even sure what he does when working. His cutiemark is vague too. Oh and his color scheme contrasts with Jacks, I did that on purpose because why not.
Vanessa, another one of the local deers who ends up going missing. I'm gonna be honest I know nothing about her, still gotta listen to Finding Vanessa at some point. I just know from the books shes bubbly and innocent and Jack feels bad for her working at the gas station.
next is baby Jack, he could have been put beside Jack but I wasn't too sure so he's here. More lore dropping, as a kid he has went to a few different schools, like a magic school and two regular ones. He couldn't stay in the magic one because of all the fights between the other unicorns, and the other schools weren't the best for him either. His childhood is complicated to say the least.
Sabine, she is drawn as an alicorn but Jack truly doesn't remember what she was. Unicorn and Pegasus blur together, who really knows what she was, but she has stuck with Jack, never leaving his head ever since that terrible incident. Who knows, maybe she was an Alicorn afterall.
Brother Riley, the owner of the towns local bookstore and totally not the king of the Changelings. There is a lot to him, like for instance, he clearly stole this form from someone else, he is not a pony. That poor person he took from was most likely eaten alive by the other changelings just so Riley could more easily take the form for himself. As a unicorn Riley doesn't seem too suspicious, he's just the local hippy with his pet dragon Gunther. But really, he has goals, he wants to replace everyone, so he can rule over all of equestria.
Roger. An old rocking horse found hidden away in debris of an old castle, there is something dark about him. Clearly he was sealed in this wooden prison and hidden away for no one to find him. But sadly it was only a matter of time before his influences got out again. Anyone who simply touches his wooden frame will be possessed until their body cannot bare the power of this dark alicorn anymore and die. He has his eyes on a particular pony though, one he knows could hold his soul perfectly without death. Hard to say how he will achieve this, but he has already made that guys life hell.
