After having been found and given the cure, Beaver Man burrowed himself under as many blankets as he could in the guest bedroom Dr. Cossack had. The poor guy was utterly miserable, having fought back the late stages of the virus tooth and nail.

Small coughs could be heard underneath the pile of blankets, coming from the shivering lump below them. Beaver Man's unique heating and cooling system was experiencing a lot of glitches as the virus worked it's way out. He felt feverish, sure, but he still felt so freezing. His body couldn't figure out what it needed to do to deal with it. There was a small, pathetic, miserable whine before he heard the door creak open. One of his brothers, for certain.

"Wh-what?" He mumbled from beneath the blankets.

So I already talked about the 9/11 AU in the previous ask, but I will happily talk about Beaver Man (Christ).

Beaver Man was a post (which I will not bring back, @hotcocoanddrawing has already offered to be chaotic and unearth it) where someone jokingly said that 1992 Race looked like a specific photo of a beaver, and posted them side by side to prove it. People thought it was funny and began to post other photos of Newsies who looked like different photos of animals and weird animated characters.

I remember the post got really, really long after a while, so it annoyed the crap out of me having to scroll past it, but that was all. It was perfectly innocent. Then I logged on one afternoon and somehow, things had escalated. I don't know exactly what happened, but people had taken it way too far and were saying it was problematic, ableist (?), homophobic, etc. A lot of the people who first posted about it got sent really nasty anon hate. People began to get legitimately (and understandably) upset when the post crossed their dash because of all the discourse now attached to it, so they asked it to be tagged because it was triggering them (again, understandable, triggers are weird and I'm not hating on anyone for feelings that were out of their control). This, unfortunately, only heightened things, and people began hating on everyone who said they were uncomfortable with or triggered by the post.

Things sort of fizzled out on their own after a week or so of people yelling at each other about this. Beaver Man was one of those weird things (like Juck) which started off as a complete joke and turned into something else so fast that people couldn't even really remember what they were angry about in the first place (again, like Juck. Also Juck and Beaver Man happened right around the same time so clearly the fandom was going through some shit lmao.)

So yeah. That's all I remember. I will say Beaver Man was a lot more confusing to me than Juck and some of the other stuff? I don't know why I just don't remember it as well.

Listen, I've never seen 1992sies I've seen tons of clips, and the whole beaver man Race post. But you can not tell me that that man does not look like the physical embodiment of every Chucky E Cheese
