Eventually we should have one, maybe a AXIS vacation getaway? Nothing terribly far, I say San Luis Obispo. Nice, quiet, laid back and we can eat and play board games all day or roam the town or the beach. I like beaches.

Quiet adventure sounds awesome.

I think they're wonderful! I take long train rides to random stops I've not been to and just wander about for the day. No car, just my feet and a want to explore. I've seen festivals, explored amazing bookstores I would have never seen otherwise and stayed in brilliant hotels with lush gardens because I decided to explore for a few days. I highly recommend a quiet adventure, if you get a chance.

1. Would you rather be blind, deaf, or mute? Mmm, probably mute. I can deal with not talking, I do it often, and I'm pretty sure I could get by with only talking to people by typing things down. 2. What is an album that I should listen to? Why? Heh, I'm the worst person to ask this question. How about this, I think you should listen to Old Man's War by John Scalzi. Amazing book and I think it's actually better as an audiobook. 3. What’s your favorite scent? What memories does it bring about? Burning wood, like, campfire wood. No real reason, just like the smell of it.  4. If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would you choose and why? I'd want to chat with Christopher Hitchens, I read all of his books after he had passed away and I wish I could tell him how much they mean to me. Either him or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and tell him how much his Challenger series kept me on my toes as a kid and try not to tell him how big Sherlock Holmes has gotten since he died... 5. You’re going to die tomorrow. What does your last meal consist of? Ice cream. Tons of it. Either that or steaks, as many as I can eat. Hell, both. Both is good. 6. I'm glad I'm not weird for feeling that way. I love my husband and very much don't want him to leave, but at the same time, the sooner he leaves, the sooner he gets back. When he is gone, I have something positive to look forward to. Right now just feels like impending doom.

A) it’s really hard to sing that without doing the piano part. At least it is for me. B) you have way more guts than I. That was impressive.

Haha, if I would have let the video just go while I was cooking, that would have been SO much more impressive. I'm awkward in front of a camera, but if you just let me forget it's there, I kind of like singing and dancing about while I do things. And thanks, I really appreciate that. I get anxious whenever I do videos and fear the criticism, which is strange because I don't care about the public at large's opinion of me, but all of your opinions mean a great deal. :P

My god, your life always just sounds so ridiculous! I love it! Aside from how frequently it involves you getting injured. Remember that time the random guy punched you?

Hahaha, you know, for a moment, I had to think about that.  My thoughts actually went like this, "Umm...was it....the time during a boxing practice? Or what about that time last week? Oh geez, I'm going to have to read my own blog to remember the last time I wrote about getting punched in the head, since it happens so often..."

Awkward...

And it is a bit ridiculous. If you would have told a younger me that I'd, on a regular basis, swing a sword around in tournaments and also belong to a boxing club, I'd declare bullshit.

And really, I swear it's not all of my life, just quite a few of my mornings. I just figure, as a kinda sorta fit blog, I should write more about the fit things I do instead of the fact that I go through books like most fitblrs go through peanut butter.
