No Whisk No Reward review
Finally after waiting for four weeks for amazon US to deliver this book to good ol' Germany I could dive into this book right away at a friday afternoon.
I don't know when the last time was I couldn't put a book down but especially not a romance novel. I think we're all tired of overused cliches and bad written female characters that only exists to bring the male 'hero' forward in his life.
BUT BEHOLD No Whisk No Reward is not that kind of book. Yes it is the third one in a series about the infamous Donner Bakery Series but can absolutely be read as a stand alone.
The main character Sophie Copeland is fully fleshed out and that kind of friend anyone of us know or could be (e.g. working way too much and missing out on friends and a romantic private life).
The little Green Valley in which she sort of strands is an interesting typical american small city. (Atleast how I imagine this having never been to America).
Sophies thoughts, fears and decisions are always comprehensible and without wanting to spoiler the end I just want to say THAT I LOVE IT 🇯🇵
Do yourself a favor and read this book 💙
