how much is rico aware of? does he know he's being used to keep the trio on their leashes?
also, do the trio ever interact with him or do they try to avoid him?
rico is very aware. to steal shamelessly and directly from @poiseandirrationality when we'd been discussing it:
"He’s definitely aware that he is a threat - the way he is mysteriously given VIP paddock passes after Oscar and Carlos impede each other in quali and forget to give Max a tow?? That email was in his inbox before Max’s car even reached the P2 board in parc ferme"
he knows he's there to keep the trio in line. he likes that job very much. he's in a win/win position at the moment, because he gets to have max with him during breaks while the trio is with their families and/or handling media and sponsor duties, but if the trio did mess up, he knows he's on deck to step in and have max all the time. he also knows he's gp's favorite, and he likes to catch carlos' eye over max's head whenever he's at the race because they all know who gp's least favorite is. (although he still doesn't trust oscar completely and never will)
