I see, I'm also afraid of heights, but I think that if I could fly, I wouldn't be afraid anymore. Have you ever thought about it?
Thoughts about flying?
I've been on a broom before... And a hippogriff... And a Thestral... And a very (rightfully) angry dragon.
It... It's never gotten any better. If I must fly, I can handle it, but I'm still terrified of it. I do think about it sometimes, though. I dream about it and I'm never frightened until I look down.
Do you know why are you afraid of heights?
Well, it's not due to any certain experience I've had with heights in the past, really. It's just something that developed over time. I think it's because...I can't really...control things from the air. You're a bit helpless when you're up so high. And it's very dangerous. I don't like the lack of control, I guess.
...That sounds very...odd to me. But it's also the truth.
It's not all heights, mind you, that I'm afraid of. If I'm surrounded by walls, I'm alright. I can handle being on aeroplanes and...some roller coasters to an extent.
