“I know, but can’t you just try and ignore it anyway?” It wasn’t like she could do much about Tim’s frustration anyway. He, the Boy Wonder, who had fought countless of criminals and solved puzzles and riddles most wouldn’t be able to should manage to bake without this much frustration, right? So what was he doing wrong since he definitely seemed to get closer and closer to failing.

John dimmed the glow of his jade aura, Kara hanging in the air just beside him. John wasn’t just the Green Lantern of Earth, he was the protector of this entire galactic sector. He had seen the meteor showers over Ryloth IV and the sunsets on Alpha Centauri. You would think it would take a lot to impress the Lantern, and here he was, in awe. An architect himself, John mentally noted the way Lady Liberty was built, constructed sturdy and strong, He shook his head to clear his mind.  “We should get down there, huh? Watchtower didn’t dispatch us on a sightseeing mission.”

Obi was far from home as he sat up somewhere perhaps too high up. It was his natural inclination to just get away from people, and in this city, he had to go higher up than expected. His arms over a railing, with no risk of falling as looked above, he couldn’t see the lights below, but he could sense the city that never rested, the people, the very distant lights in his blackness of vison.

He pulled a bit of water from the moisture in the air, moving it about with his hands freely, something to take his mind off of things. If there was an abundance of crime, he would have been able to handle some of those to take his mind off things but it was a rather silent night, if there was crime, it was likely the white collar and quiet kind.

His senses dulled before he realized someone was much closer than the people below, hovering. With a small jump, he moved back but then gripped the bar with one hand, securing his grip. “…Scared me.” He sighed out as his blindfolded gaze shifted over to her, “Oh Uhhhh…I wasn’t going to do…That, if that’s why you are here, I just needed to clear my head. I hope you didn’t…” He trailed off. “Sorry.” @becauseitneedstobedone
