Summary: In the wake of their victory in Wakanda, Steve made a momentous decision: He ditched his alter ego, handed over the shield to Sam and went on an extensive road trip to clear his mind. What could have been an overdue adventure for someone who missed out on a lot, is in fact an evasive manoeuvre. Because not only did Steve leave behind Captain America but also Bucky, his ex-boyfriend from the past, and Tony, his ex-boyfriend from the present.
But every journey comes to an end and when Steve finally returns to New York he discovers that things have changed quite a lot in his absence, and not necessarily to Steve's liking.
And the worst: The problems he had tried to run from are still there, waiting for him to find a solution. Namely Bucky and Tony.
