Hello everybody, if you haven't yet seen our latest post, it is official: Bechloe Week 2026 is underway!!
That being said I wanted to get some things out of the way and the schedule out before our messages are flooded with concerns and questions (but don't be afraid to reach out anytime)
Schedule
July 10th - 13th: Submissions Open
July 14th - 17th: Voting Opens
July 20th (at the latest): Poll results closely followed by the official Bechloe Week schedule.
August 16th - 22nd: BECHLOE WEEK
PSA
Every year I see the same questions: "why are the days spread out so much?" "why is it taking so long" "why is Bechloe week a month away" etc.
Simply the page is run by few people, namely me, alone some years. Thankfully I've had help from some cool people (@ridiculously-over-obsessed) but in the end I'm working hard to make things run as smoothly as possible. That being said, we'd appreciate some patience this year because it is coming, promise. Also Bechloe week is a month away to give people time to create what they want to publish. There's been some trial and error in that department...
tl;dr
Be patient and kind while we get everything together.
Listed below are all the creative works made for Bechloe week 2025! Sorted by prompts and creators. I've added links to their OG tumblr posts as well as a link to their AO3 fic if supplied. Give them some love!!

“You’re being ridiculous,” Beca said, watching as Stacie stirred sugar into her coffee. “And also way too loud.” She shot a look over her shoulder to make sure the redheaded barista wasn’t in earshot.
“No, you’re being ridiculous,” Stacie replied, not bothering to keep her voice down. “I’m being observant.”
“Stace, this is my favourite coffee shop on campus-”
“-I wonder why-”
“-please don’t make me have to add it to my list of places I’m too embarrassed to show my face in.”
“You’re quite literally the most dramatic person I’ve ever met,” Stacie said.
“And you’re the most frustrating,” Beca countered.
“All I’m saying is that you should ask her for her number.”
“Dude, gross, she’s at work I’m not a creep,” Beca said, practically dragging Stacie out of the door.
“I don’t mean right now,” Stacie said, pulling her arm from Beca’s grasp. “I mean the next time you bump into her on campus.”
Beca shook her head as they carried on walking towards the library. “Can we drop this? You’re supposed to be helping me study.”
“Which I will, once we get to the library and you tell me why you won’t ask out the cute barista who is so obviously into you.”
Beca scoffed. “Dude, she isn’t into me.”
“She remembers your name and your drink order,” Stacie said, ticking both off on her fingers.
“She remembers everyone’s names and drink orders,” Beca replied, rolling her eyes. “She’s a good barista.”
“She always smiles when she sees you.”
“She smiles when she sees everyone. Plus I’m a good tipper.”
“She spells your name with one ‘C’,” Stacie said, tapping the correct spelling on Beca’s cup. “You’re the only Beca I know who spells their name like that.”
“She-”
Stacie cleared her throat and tapped on her own cup. The ‘Stacey’ on Stacie’s cup was hastily scribbled. Beca looked back at her own. ‘Beca’ followed by a smiley face.
“She… um… she must have…”
“While you reach for something, let me add that you’re literally losing nothing by asking her out, but you might be gaining a date with the super hot redhead barista.”
“Chloe,” Beca said. “Her name is Chloe, which I know, because of her name tag. And she knows how to spell my name because it’s on my student ID, which I always wear and you never do. Check, mate.” Beca tapped triumphantly on the plastic ID card hung around her neck.
“Riiight,” Stacie said. “She was staring at your chest so she could read your ID.”
Beca felt the blush creep all the way up to her neck.
“I’m done talking about this,” she said. “Chloe isn’t into me. And I’m…” Beca trailed off, knowing it’d be pointless trying to insist that she wasn’t into Chloe. “I’m busy. With school, and my music, and the radio station. I don’t have time to date.”
“Fine, I’ll drop it,” Stacie said. “But even if she did say no - which she wouldn’t - what’s the worst that could happen?”
“I could die,” Beca deadpanned.
“Seriously,” Stacie said. “Nothing bad would happen. You’d feel a little embarrassed and then you’d move on. Was it awkward between you and Jesse when you turned him down?”
“No,” Beca admitted. “Well, not for him, I don’t think Jesse has the capacity for embarrassment. I was awkward about it.”
“For like a day, and now you guys are back to being friends.”
“Yeah but there’s like a weird dynamic here. I know where she works and I’ll see her on campus, I don’t want her to think I’m some weird stalker.”
“You’re catastrophising again,” Stacie said. “But I can see we aren’t getting anywhere with this, and I said I’d drop it so I will.”
“Thank you.”

Beca held off on going back to the coffee shop for as long as she could, which turned out to only be a few days.
She wasn’t sure if she was relieved or not to see Chloe standing behind the counter.
As she always did, the redhead brightened at the sight of Beca walking through the door.
“Beca!” She said brightly.
“Hi,” Beca replied. “How are you?”
“I’m great, thanks,” Chloe said, with a grin that matched her cheery tone. “And you?”
“Oh, you know, got a paper due tomorrow that I forgot about,” Beca said. “So about the same as I normally am.”
“Ah, that sucks, I hope you finish,” Chloe said. “Usual?”
“Please.”
Beca paid and tipped and moved along to the end of the counter to wait for her coffee, all the while trying to get Stacie’s voice out of her head.
“Here you go, Beca,” Chloe said.
“Thanks,” Beca said. She took the coffee from Chloe and was about to turn and walk away, but spotted something different written on the side of her cup.
Your friend is right.
Beca frowned before glancing up at Chloe, who was watching her with a look Beca hadn’t seen her wear before.
She was nervous.
“I, um, I get off at 5,” Chloe said.
Beca blinked, unsure how to respond.
“So, you know, if you wanted to ask for my number or something.”
Beca swallowed. “Oh,” she said. She checked her watch. It was 4:45. “Yeah. I’ll, um, I’ll just…” Beca trailed off and gestured to the empty table beside her. “I’ll just wait here.”
“You don’t need to get back and write your paper?”
“It can wait,” Beca said. “I suddenly have something much more important to do.”
“And what’s that?”
“Wait for you to finish your shift so I can ask you out.”
Beca practically stumbled into her favorite coffee shop one morning, exhausted from having stayed up late working on a demo track for her newest artist. What didn’t help was that what she had was, in her opinion, a steaming pile of shit. It was some really horrible rap, and she’d spent the evening racking her brain about how to create something that anyone could stand to listen to. She ended up adding her own vocals to it, and she hoped that her boss and the artist would like what she’d done.
When it was her turn to order, she practically got whiplash. There was a barista she hadn’t seen before with red hair and the most gorgeous blue eyes she’d ever seen.
Beca grabbed her latte and her breakfast sandwich and sat down. She looked at her latte and saw that the barista had drawn an adorable winking smiley face. It gave her a little boost of happiness. She wondered how someone could possibly be this adorable.
When Beca arrived at work, she saw the rapper “Pimp Lo” waiting in the lobby. She quickly dropped her things in her cubicle and handed the flash drive with the new track to her boss.
They met in a conference room, and Beca smiled as she heard her track over the speakers. Her boss asked who had done the vocals, she shyly replied that she’d done them as a placeholder for when they got a “real” singer. Just as her boss was saying that her vocals were pretty solid and that she’d done an excellent job producing “the shit out of his turdburger,” Pimp Lo spoke up.
“I hate it. I really hate it. I’m the artist, and this is my song. I feel like y’all should play my mix.”
Beca’s boss played his original track, and Pimp Lo began to gyrate, even grabbing his crotch while standing way too close to Beca.
”This is the ‘Bend Over’ the world needs to be listening to.”
Beca stood up. “Yeah, um, it's my job to make you the best little Pimp-Lo that you can be, and-and I want to get behind ‘Bend Over.’ And, as your producer, I would love it if you could trust me.”
“I would love it if you leave my track how it is.”
“I made your song great, man.”
Beca’s boss stepped in, and, unfortunately, sided with Pimp-Lo.
”I think what she means is, your song was always great.”
Beca stood her ground. “No, what I mean is what you gave me was a steaming pile of-”
Beca’s boss cut her off. “Pimp-Lo!”
She continued. “Okay. There's something that you should know. Uh, Beca is on her period.”
Beca was horrified. For one thing, she wasn’t on her period. For another, it wasn’t anyone’s business if she was.
“Wow,” she said in disbelief.
“Oh, it's shark week? Hot damn,” he said.
Beca couldn’t believe what was happening. She’d worked so hard, only to see her boss ready to throw it away for a rapper that she knew damn well wasn’t going anywhere without a lot of help.
Beca’s boss spoke up as she pulled Beca aside. “If you could just excuse us for a second.”
Her boss continued. “What are you doing?”
Beca wasn’t having any of this disrespect. “How can you take his side?”
“Sides? Well, we…Why are we always talking about sides? Okay, it's our job, brah. We're producers. We bring his vision to life.”
That was it. Beca had had enough. “You know what? I quit. I worked my ass off, and you loved my track until that little shit said he hated it. I’m going to go find someone who appreciates my effort. I’m out.”
Beca grabbed her things from her cubicle and walked out.
The next morning, Beca found herself back at the coffee shop. She knew these visits would slowly eat away at her savings while she was unemployed, but she needed caffeine and her roommate had finished the last of the coffee that morning. She knew Amy wasn’t going to replace it anytime soon, so there she was.
She was happy to see the same barista was there. She took a moment to read her name tag and discovered her name was Chloe.
Chloe did latte art again that morning. It was the face of a teddy bear this time, and Beca couldn’t help but think about how it was almost as cute as the barista.
As Beca continued on her search for a new job, she found herself making excuses to go to the coffee shop. Every morning, she got new latte art from Chloe. Her personal favorite was a sleepy bunny face, and there was also an elaborate swan another day.
One morning, Beca stopped for a latte on the way to a job interview. It was for Residual Heat, a competitor of BFD records, where she’d worked before. She’d done an internship in their Atlanta office during her senior year of college, and she’d reached out to Sammy, her boss from the internship, to see if their New York office had any openings.
Chloe smiled. “I see you’re dressed up today. You look nice.”
Today’s latte art was a fancy heart. She looked at her receipt and noticed Chloe had written on it: “Good luck today! Call me!” Below it was a phone number.
Beca found it very hard to concentrate during the interview, but she managed to get her act together. She even played Pimp-Lo’s original track and then her improved version.
Before Beca could explain what had happened at BFD, she found herself shaking hands with the interviewers and accepting a job on the spot.
She called Chloe a few hours after returning home.
”Hi, it’s Beca,” she said. “From the coffee shop.”
”Hey! Good timing. I just got back,” Chloe replied. “How did the interview go?”
”I got the job!”
”That’s great.” There was a pause for a beat.
”Yeah, so, thanks for asking.”
”Right,” said Chloe. “That’s…not why I wanted you to call me.”
”Okay?”
“So…you kinda set off my gaydar. I hope it’s not wrong, and…”
This was the first time Beca had noticed Chloe getting flustered. “It’s not wrong.”
”So, are you single?”
“Yes.”
“Awes! Would you like to go on a date with me?”
“Sure,” said Beca, chuckling. “Awes?”
“I like to shorten words sometimes. I said ‘totes’ all the time in college.”
Just when I thought she couldn’t get more adorable, Beca thought.
“That’s cool. You pick the time and the place.”
”Awes!”
”Yeah, awes.”
Beca smiled to herself. A new job and a date with the most adorable person she’d ever met. This sure was a stellar day!
