The Justice League is investigating a series of murders appearing in Star City heading to Metropolis and now Gotham. It's not just corrupt politicians. Soldiers, suspected pedophiles, femicide, just batshit crazy.
The public has no issue with this anti-hero act of justice, so they're just.. pretending they haven't seen anything. A motorcycle appeared and a scream was heard? Damn, that leaf was photograph quality. A murder weapon left on the ground after a rough tussle? So dramatic, that's just a Halloween prop! Small-time workers are receiving sticky notes with phone numbers written on them if those homophobic assholes ever come by again. (P.S. a few bikes are always heard revving in the distance)
Soon, it's all ANYONE can talk about. A bunch of kids beating it to the man and actually receding crime rates in a matter a weeks? Also since the animal army is a group who leaves no animal left behind and they do whatever to survive.. it's like a free job.
Oh, Beckybear! Putting up a festive tree-topper the only way a hefty clumsy ursine knows how - climbing the dang thing. This was originally intended to be a quick doodle but I'm glad I stuck with it and made it a proper coloured Crimbo piece. Hurrah!
