TL;DR Version: The new Beer Braised Beef sandwich from @Arbys looks like a total mess, but it tastes great and has surprisingly decent nutritional information. Full Review: I got a review request from @MVitale77 to check out the Meatoberfest items from Arby’s. The three new sandwiches are Beer Braised Beef, The Beer Cheese n’ Double Beef, and the Beer Cheese Triple Stack. I went with the Beer Braised Beef sandwich because I wanted to try the beer braised beef as a stand-alone and I didn’t quite have enough room in my daily calorie count to eat the triple stack. The Beer Braised Beef sandwich has shredded braised beef, fried onion petals, beer cheese sauce, and mustard on a pretzel bun. My first impression when I unboxed this thing was not a good one. The pretzel bun looked really good and wasn’t soaked with grease like they can get from fast food burger combinations. Inside the bun, however, it looked like a casserole exploded. But as unappetizing as it was in appearance, it tasted delicious when I bit into it. The beef was tender, the occasional onion petal was a slight change up in flavor, and the mustard was a perfect compliment to both the meat and the pretzel bun. As surprised as I was by the appearance/taste disparity, I was even more surprised by the reasonable macros. Weighing in at 590 calories, 23g of fat, 64g of carbs, and 33g of protein, I expected much worse from something covered in beer cheese. So if you can get past the way it looks, you should have no reservations about this sandwich. #FastFoodReviews #RealFastFoodie #Arbys #Meatoberfest #BeerBraisedBeef #BeerCheese #PretzelBun #WeHaveTheMeats #FastFoodMacros #iifym https://www.instagram.com/p/B3kMDvNl97u/?igshid=15a4okyy0roi7
