#WaaaaaayBackWednesday #BeforePinterest to 1997...the year mom and I pooled our $10 limit per person perpresent and made these quilted Santa vests for all of the girls we worked with as well her bffs. I don't think we made them for her sisters, but we might've? I don't know. It's been too many years. I've moved exactly 10 times since then, and yet this vest is still around. My tuxedo shirt, red corduroy shorts and uber cute shoes are long gone, but this remains. I think I'll wear it today for our MWF parties :)

I have binders and folders and boards full of clippings, thoughts, fabric scraps and letters filled with 'inspirations' that feed that belly fire. This is part of the board in my workshop. Yesterday, I found an old note in a cabinet in the shop, written to me in a life I no longer have, and it amazingly was cheering me on to do a project that I am working on right now!
