The weather was gray and rainy today, which made me quite sleepy. Along with hosting a family dinner, I didn’t have much energy or time to work on academic stuff. I got a little done though and I started learning how to handletter - something I’ve wanted to try for the longest time! Featuring my current read that I’m trying to finish soon, and my cat ready for a nap.

College outfit help!!!

Does anyone know of any good fashion blogs? I need some outfit ideas for college and seeing as I spent 13 years of my life wearing a school uniform I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to outfits that are school appropriate.

Tips for beginner studyblrs!

So I am recently new to studyblr so I decided to put together a list of tips and advice

Reblog and follow beginner Studyblrs as they too are only starting out, and it spreads your blog and motivation to other people quicker, rather than if you only reblogged the really popular posts. Also I feel like beginners studyblrs are more genuine.

You don't need to have an aesthetic white desk and school supplies to be a Studyblr. Sure those setups look amazing but it's ok to post pictures of you own desk area even if it's your kitchen table(like mine😁)

Create some posts at the weekend and schedule them to be posted for different days during the week. So for example, if you wanted you could snap all of your fancy pictures with the fairy lights and white fluffy blanket all on one day instead of having to find the time during the week to set up a fancy background for your pictures (if fancy is your thing)

Interact with other study blogs eg. Maybe leave a cute comment saying how lovely someone's notes are. This spreads positivity and you never know it might make someone's day a lot better!

It's also ok to post pictures that aren't Studyblr related. Maybe you took a really nice picture of your outfit or a cow you seen or something that interests you like a film you're watching, well post the hell out of it because it's your blog and you do you!

Don't be disappointed if you don't get a lot of notes because you should only post on your blog to make YOU happy and not to meet someone else's expectations.

HASHTAG (#) all of your posts because this will help more people to see them!!!

Practice makes perfect! The more you create posts, the better you'll get at making them!

Banjo my dudes

So i really want a study buddy... but here's my problem: I'm young. I'm not 16 or 17, im 13. That really limits how many friends i can make because i feel like no one wants the young kid. They can't talk to younger studyblrs about AP classes. If you don't have a problem with me being 13, and you want to be friends, keep reading. So here are some things about me, academic related and not: - I really want to be a surgeon. Grey's Anatomy brought this job to light. I only thought about family doctors, which uninterested me. I know medical school is extremely difficult, but, go big or go home, am i right? - I would really like to live in Los Angeles when I'm older. (Not really academic, but i want to go to a school here) - I'm going into 8 grade, but i enjoy learning at my own pace. - I learn really fast, so at school when the unit is dragged on for a month, it kills me. I already know it, so why can't i move on? - I'm getting better. I'm really messy, unorganized and not motivated. I was suicidal in March, and i'm still recovering. It's hard to do things without the energy, especially in Summer. Still interested? Here are things that i want to learn, and enjoy learning. - I love reading and writing. I'm writing on wattpad, and i've mentioned it in previous posts. - I'm interested in ancient history. Atlantis? Yes. Greece? Yes. In school we just learn more recent things, but i want to know all about the ancient stuff. It fascinates me. - I was learning russian, but i don't remember anything. I am also interested in spanish and german, but i'm totally cool with any other language - Holy cow i want to learn how to play the violin. Idk why, it's just i do. There you have it.
