Hi! This isn't a request for a recommendation, I just wanted to say that I've been following you for a couple years at this point and wanted to give a big thanks for all the energy you put into this Tumblr and your website! Also this is an invitation for you to ramble about any book that's on your mind recently and you haven't gotten to talk about as much as you'd like!

Oh, thank you!! And ha! I do appreciate the invitation, and I'm gonna take it to mention Being Fishkill by Ruth Lehrer, which is this absolutely beautiful and heartrending (major TWs for various kinds of abuse) YA from a few years back that's wildly underrated and has a 13yo MC (almost unheard of for YA, but it's definitely YA) who's really just dipping into her queerness and it's just so beautiful and good. I happened to be in the city of Fishkill yesterday and I couldn't stop thinking about it and I meant to tweet about it but didn't, so voila!

Also, ICYMI, The Heartbreak Bakery by AR Capetta sold through its first print run and won't get another one until March, and it is the most delightful and warmhearted and delicious book with recipes and an agender MC and a demisexual transmasc LI and basically if you want to get your hands on it, you need to order it now.
