Sony Working on Animated “Spider-Woman” Film

Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures is developing an animated Spider-Women film that will focus on three generations of women with spider powers. Bek Smith is writing the script with Amy Pascal producing. There is no official word yet on which Spider-Women will be in the film.

In other Spider-Man news, Sony also already reportedly working on a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse that will continue Miles Morales’ story. Joaquim Dos Santos is set to direct the sequel.
