Ēostre 4.9% Witbier - Tasting Notes

My first lockdown beer is ready after just over a week in the bottle, the beauty of a Belgian Wit. Aroma is sour wheat and sharp lemon. Thick lacy head stays all the way down softening the taste which is citrus and orange with a touch of sweetness balancing nicely against the bready wheat. Think I've properly nailed this one, so pleased with it. Guess practice makes perfect, been doing a Witbier this time every year since I started brewing. 😍 I'll be nice and share the recipe too. 😁

Great Lakes Brewing’s Holy Moses Raspberry White Ale (Picked up at Weis in PA). A 3 of 4. Very little red tinge from the raspberry, but it’s definitely there in the nose and just a little bit in the body. Honestly, this is a really great Belgian white with just a little bit of interesting candy-like raspberry quality on top of your typical yeasty/spicy Belgian notes. Nice.
