Commercial set of four bell weights in cast brass on a dedicated steel-bound mahogany stand. Used as a poundage set, though with subtle variations. All are stamped '563', for weights and measures verification in Newport. Also 'ER' '65' to the lead corrections on base. This was the last year that the set was verified. The 7lb & 4lb are also stamped PARNALL & SONS LTD., Narrow Wine Street, Bristol (eventually largest shop fitters in England). The 4ld has a cresting ripple cast inside its lifting aperture.
