Belphemon Rage Mode with an S/O who is shy

You know that image with the cute pupper sitting next to that werewolf decoration that's all snarling and such? That's basically these two. That's the dynamic. Belphemon is incredibly protective of his dear S/O, and when others step a little too close, he gets fairly bristle-y about it.

Because he knows better, and because his S/O has told him time and time again, he doesn't just attack anyone who he knows is friends with his dear S/O. He can be calm then, but he still has a bit of a growling problem...

Best of luck to anyone who tries to make fun of his shy S/O, because they're not going to have a good time if Belphemon hears it. His form is called Rage Mode for a reason, and if he knows someone hurt his S/O's feelings, he really won't let it stand. And he's not going to hold back on a human of all things, or any Digimon -- but Digimon know better.

Belphemon is fairly cuddly with his partner, holding them gently in his hands as he makes a growling-purring noise as even when he wants to be cuddly it's tough thanks to his anger. It's easier when he's in Sleep Mode... But he can't not watch his dear sleep!! Especially when he holds them so close to him...

He tries to be cautious of his rage around his S/O even if it's tough to really keep down without going to sleep. This Demon Lord tries so hard to keep his Tamer comfortable, and if they try to make friends he tries to calm down so he's not as intimidating, as tough as that is with his forever-snarl. Maybe shifting to Sleep Mode if it will make those around that they're trying to talk to comfortable as well. He doesn't like it, but he knows how to wake up if he must.

He just tries as best as his Rage Mode allows with a shy S/O. They know they're perfectly safe with him nearby, and he tries to get them to be confident in themselves as well. Gotta feel nice to have a tough Digimon by their side, that's what they gotta remember.

Lucemon

He’s very strong and frequently forgets just how weak humans are so you end up with lots of cuts and bruises

Usually has his tail wrapped around one of your legs, not intentionally, it just kinda happens subconsciously

He’s a bit rough and wild but knows your limits as a human and gives you space if you need it and stops if it’s too much

He loves to Mark you via biting and clawing, he genuinely enjoys see marks on you, he even lets you do the same to him

Laylamon

She’s very gentle and continually will ask how you are doing and if it’s too much, even if you’re in control

She starts off gently and then progressively gets more rough but will back down if you want her too

She uses her wings to tease you, brushing them against sensitive spots slowly and then she watches you squirm

Belphemon was confused when you first presented it to him when he woke up. He doesn't really know what's going on around him much when he's in Sleep Mode, and so if you ever tried to present him with anything during that point, he didn't fully comprehend what you did up until his Mode Change.

Your first plush you made for him, he may have tried to eat it. He's never seen a plushie, and so he thought it was a kind of food you made for him until he realized it wasn't edible entirely after you also told him that it wasn't food.

Belphemon doesn't understand it, but you seem more than happy with your toy version of him, and so he tries to be the same. He doesn't know what to do with it, but he keeps it at his side regardless

When he's in Sleep Mode, he does keep the plushie close by. Sometimes having it sitting up against him. Especially if you aren't around while he sleeps. While, yes, he isn't entirely aware of it, he's aware when he's in Rage Mode and then shifts back. So he holds it beside him before sleeping so it's there when he wakes up

He gets a bit attached to it, and takes rather good care of it, and you of course! As much as he can get rather heated easily, he never does anything to hurt the plush you made for him and always directs his anger elsewhere.

It's perhaps his favourite gift he's received, and he can look to it when you're not around. And you can look to your own when he isn't able to be there as well! As much as he does sleep when you aren't there beside him, he does have his moments of awakening and if he can't find you, that's the first thing he goes to.
