Happy Beltane Eve! Beltane marks the transition between Spring to Summer, and traditionally involves lots of fire 🔥 Fire witches, how are you feeling tonight? In the past, the sacred bonfire(s) were lit the eve of Beltane and not allowed to burn out until sunrise. These bonfires would be danced around all night, with people jumping over the fire to bring themselves blessings. As a fertility festival, some Beltane rituals may involve 👀 rites after jumping over the fire. After the fire is burned out, the ashes can be kept to bring home for protection wear on your person. ⁠
