Eternals (2021), dir. Chloé Zhao
Since “Werewolf by Night” was the MCU Halloween special, how about a Valentine’s Day special?
My idea is a series of shorts that highlight different romantic couples in the universe. It’s basically the same idea behind “Love Actually”. Just a hypothetical outline of who could appear in the special:
1) Clint Barton and Laura Barton going on a date night to celebrate several years of marriage
2) Phastos and Ben attending their son’s piano recital
3) Shang-Chi and Kate Bishop getting paired up on the MCU’s version of a popular dating app
4) Carol Danvers reminiscing about the time she went on a date with Monica Rambeau
5) Peter Parker imagining a date with Michelle Jones-Watson, before he remembers what happened to him
6) Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes going on a double date (presumably with newly introduced characters) that leads to shenanigans
7) And for the big surprise that’s actually gonna be a plot point in the next Moon Knight season, Marc Spector/Steven Grant wake up in Jessica Jones’ bed, unaware that Jake Lockley had a one-night stand with her.

Staring reeeaaallly hard at that one letterboxd comment on Thor 4 that says the first marvel gay kiss will be between star lord and thor not just because it won't but because the first marvel gay kiss already happened in Eternals between Phastos and his husband Ben but because the ship didn't involve a single white skinny male it received the bare bones of attention in this hell fandom
you know its true
I love how Marvel usually goes with one or two romantic tropes/scenes in their movies but with Sam and Bucky they were like: “let’s use all of them”
1. The love at first fight
2. The Character A looking at sunset while character B comes from behind scene
3. The Hand Holding scene
4. The Character A turning around to look at character B while walking away
5. The Character A having doubts and character B finding the words of encouragement Character A needed to finally accept his calling as a Superhero and go save the world
*Anthony Mackie revealed that it was his talk with Bucky that finally led Sam to finally accept the Captain America mantle. His words, not mine.
6. The Character A freezing during a fight when they see Character B.
*Bucky almost got killed because he was too busy looking at Sam in his new suit.
7. The Character A and Character B awkwardly sitting in front of Character C and Character C trying to understand their relationship because C thinks A and B are dating.
8. The Character A landing on top of Character B
9. The staring meaningfully into each other’s eyes
10. The Character A staring lovingly at Character B while Character B isn’t looking

Phastos and Ben Stoss (Eternals)
I watched the Eternals and I found it quite nice, so here is a doodle of something absolutely NOT happening in the movie! (so, don't worry: they are no spoilers here)-
just me imagining Phastos protecting his husband
