Creed | Eliwood & Mercedes
@benevolent-angel
Pray, I ask for your continued guidance as Pherae, no, all of Lyica, navigates through a time of peace. I ask for your blessing, to ensure the peace is sustained for our future generations. Eliwood implored, his hands clasped together before the altar. Please continue to support me, Saint Elimine.
After making his devotions, Eliwood straightened, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He gazed towards the rereros before him, reflecting back on Lycia’s situation just a few years before. His father’s disappearance, attempted assassinations, the rise of Nergal...all had happened so quickly. Then, he didn’t have a single moment to earnestly offer his prayers as he could now. He had been too focused on his own grief, the battles before him, and plain survival. He was grateful that he had been able to bring peace to Lycia, but Athos’s premonition still haunted him. The great danger that would threaten Lycia...and the children of fire, the children that would save them all. He shook his head. Could that future be prevented?
He turned, intending to make his departure, when he collided with an individual that had been just behind him. He stumbled, but immediately composed himself, looking to the woman before him apologetically.
“Ah, my apologies! I fear my mind was elsewhere, and I did not realize that you were just behind me,” Eliwood replied, lowering his head slight in apology, “pray, forgive my interruption.”
