19 - An oc that misses somebody badly

BEN was made in conjunction with someone else’s oc. She used to have a husband, a character that belonged to someone else. She missed him badly at one point, but has long since moved on. I guess she’s a divorcee?

Honestly, because of how the IRL relationship suddenly ended I never decided what happened between her and her husband. Whether to 1) retcon their relationship out of existence, 2) shift her grief to one of my ocs to make sense of her madness, or to 3) somehow honor what actually happened.

I settled on changing her design; her husband was missing an eye - and I recently decided she was blinded in one eye.

Idk, we all leave each other affected, y’know? She developed in conjunction with someone else’s oc, and suddenly he was gone. She couldn’t stay the same after that, but I couldn’t leave her mired in grief. So she’s moved on, but she was changed by the experience.
