The 'Toxic' Vs The Real Toxic
We are led to believe that Berey is THE toxic ship of Descendants.
But is it REALLY? In D1 we are introduced to Ben x Audrey when they are mid disagreement. Yet we never see them yell or be harsh with each other.
Ben is comfortable to disagree with Audrey "your wrong about them."
Even in D3 when Audrey is at her DARKEST she calls Ben out for leaving her in private. We never see Berey humiliate or be uncomfortable calling the other out
Now lets look at devie which is CONTINUALLY used as a HEALTHY COMPARISON to both Bal and Berey.
When doug disagrees with evie its "Are you cheating on me?!" Are you seeing someone else?!"
devie's first true conversation was "Technically yes I'm stalking you."
I do not disagree that Berey and Bal are technically toxic. By their canon writing they are.
BUT DEIVE SHOULD NOT be the 'healthy' choice when it is MORE TOXIC then BOTH BAL AND BEREY!
If you need to compare the ships to a 'healthy' ship there is JARLOS and HUMA! Those two ships are more healthy then devie is EVER shown to be!
