Related to the previous ask you got, isn't Berlinerisch a middlegerman dialect?
To me it sounds like a mix between Plattdeutsch and Hunsrückisch, but that can be just my mind, given the fact that I'm accustomed to hear Hunsrückisch and Plattdeutsch in my area
I've always been interested in languages and dialects, but am by no means knowledgable about the various German dialects 🌺
From this wiki article (for what it's worth, being wiki ofcourse) i take it the Berlinerisch metrolect has been (and still is) evolving by various influences over the years (as do most living languages and dialects, as my dad used to say "my mom didn't talk the way i do, and i don't tal, the way my kids do" and i know from my own dialect that indeed many old words that my grandparents used a lot, are hardly known to todays people anymore (although now and then a resurgance occurs, because a lot of these old words are actually very interesting).
What i especially like about that wiki is the short list of 'phrasing examples' because in my head i can hear Paul and Flake use these, there is hardly an interview with them where these are not heard, like:
kehna – keiner (no one)
Watt’n? – Was denn? (What?)
haste – hast du (Did you..maybe Have you)
Allet juht – Alles gut (Everything okay)
Ick hab’ – Ich habe (I have)
Dit hamm' wa – Das haben wir (we have this)
😊
