I like the hc that Bernard quotes pop culture references or memes. Like imagine instead of saying:

He literally screams "GO PISS GIRL." at the top of his lungs. And Tim would genuinely either be confused half of the time, or just stare. Maybe embarrassed.

Normalize Bernard making bad jokes about his name, like Tim would be so sick of it but it would be funny.

"'Bernard Don't'? The last time I checked I was Bernard Dowd."

"It's Bernard Dowd. Not Bernard Don'twd. Which means that I should."

"Bernard Do wd(do what)? Bernard be gay do crime."

"But to be fair, you Berned the kitchen."

"How have you Bern doing? Get it, cause, been- hehe.. not funny?"

Timbern au idea: an au where people are able to chose their life span. It cannot be later switched for a high number. Lets say.. maybe 200.

But under a certain number, (in this case, 199 and under) people are able to switch with anyone if they touch them.

Like if someone picked 0, and switched with a person.

The person picked would have until the life span finalises to switch it back, if not, they would die.

The is a 1 hour cool down for switches, and the decision can only have 24 hours to be finalised.

Like, imagine Timbern in this au. Essentially, Bernard immediately picks a high number, in hopes to live old with Tim.

While Tim is extremely worried when he finds out. And has to juggle to want to spend the rest of his life with Bernard, and the fear that Bernard's number could be swapped.
