Sadly in my stack of unwatched movies I don’t have any apocalyptic movies left. The only one I had, The Domestics, I’ve already watched! The idea that I’ve managed to watch all of my post-apocalyptic movies when I have so many others left unwatched says a lot I think.

   Indeed.😊 I work in a university post grad department and very few of our students are English first language speakers, so one realizes how we take things for granted😜. I often have to google American sayings ‘cause they make no sense to me😋   

Well, this particular saying makes 0 sense to me tbh so my mind just automatically jumped to a completely different conclusion (that also makes no sense but at least it’s funny) But yeah, I hope to become a literary translator one day and I’ll try to remember to look things up when it comes to translating idioms and such :D

I...have no idea how, sadly. I lent my television to my roommate because I mostly watch stuff on my computer and theirs broke, and I’ve only recently gotten it back, so now I’m like ?????
