Meanwhile, bored out of his mind at the Blue Moon Lodge, Darius passes the time with random hookups. He is slowly hatching a plan on how to get near his grandson, yet he hasn’t had a chance to bring it into action yet.

But hookups are nice too. They are a good way to cause trouble for these boring denizens of Appaloosa Plains.

His latest conquest is Patricia Bedlington. While Darius is absolutely appalled at her awful sense of style, he enjoys the fact that she is clearly here to cheat on her husband. He wonders if the idiot even knows where she is right now. Would be awfully terrible if he shows up right now, after he and his wife just finished getting to know each other very closely in the motel’s photo booth, wouldn’t it?

Oh, there he is. But he doesn’t seem to care very much that his wife is clearly getting up close and personal with another man, much to Darius’s consternation. Breakups are always fun to cause.

However, the moment he turns away from the married couple, they begin making out. This doesn’t look like a fake couple to Darius. 

Darius: Excuse me? What the hell is going on here?

Patricia: Hi there, Darius. You’ve met Bertram already, right? My husband?

Darius: Yes, I can see he’s your husband. And you two are like two hormonal teenagers with one another. So, what’s the deal?

Bertram: Hey, man, I thought we all had a spark, no?

Patricia nods.

- We’re all here, we’re all into this, and our room is right upstairs. 

Darius: Are you proposing a threesome?!

Patricia: What’s the issue? We’re all consenting adults, but it’s cool if you’re not down for it. I think Bert and I misjudged you...

Darius: You two aren’t cheating on one another?!

Bertram: No, we just like to keep things interesting. This is the first time someone who liked us both said no, though...
