Shmi, Anakin, and Beru Skywalker / THE PRINCE OF EGYPT
The Skywalker siblings:Sequel Trilogy au
So I've been thinking. If Mara Jade was canon and Luke had kids in canon.
Thinking about the beru and anakin are twins au soooo so so much and the idea that beru is the twin the force forgot. The idea that she was born a weak abd sickly baby becus the force never accounted for her when it put its all into creating anakin- but it was shmi who willed beru into existence.the the universe begging for balance resulted in anakin, and Her begging the force for a way out of this crushing loneliness resulted in beru. It's all so clear in my mind take my hand I can show you more of my beautiful world .... 🌎 ✨️
shout out to the amazing space moms of sw!

If my brother’s dead, I am not alive. If I’m alive, my brother can’t be dead.
beru being able to see/talk to dead people is literally my everything!! can i ask for more of her and anakin! (i totally get it if you aren’t taking requests right now though)
(Awww Beru!)
“I just don’t understand!” She cries, throwing her hands up into the air. “I should be training by now, shouldn’t I?” she asks, turning pleading eyes to her grandfather.
Her very dead grandfather.
Anakin Skywalker sighs as he settles onto the floor of his granddaughter’s room. She’s ten, and sweet and smart and funny and everything Anakin ever hoped for in a child or grandchild of his own.
Luke and Leia are too. Jacen and Jaina and Nic. Ben.
All of them.
But Beru is the only one who can see or hear him.
“Your father has concerns,” he tells her evenly.
She snorts and flops down on her little bed. “I’m old enough!”
“You’re different,” Anakin says gently. “You can do things that very few Jedi can do, Beru. You can summon Force Ghosts. It’s new territory. It would have been new territory for the Council back in the day. Your father is taking your training slowly so he doesn’t mess it up.”
“He won’t!”
“Right. Because he’s taking the time to plan it out.”
“Gross. Plans.”
Anakin can’t help a chuckle. “You’ll thank him one day. If I had been more of a planner maybe things would be different.”
She turns to look at him.
“Don’t be too hasty,” he warns her. “The Force rolls its eyes at the young and foolhardy.”
“Dad! Ben took my X-Wing model!”
Luke Skywalker crouches down in front of his daughter and brushes her hair out of her eyes. “Did you ask him to give it back to you?”
Beru Skywalker, all of five years old, has a bit of a tattletale problem. Luke can sympathize, since she’s the youngest of all the kids. Add in being small for her age and it’s tough for her to make her voice be heard. But Luke and Mara had talked this over and agreed that Beru needs to try to use that voice before asking for help.
As he expected, Beru scuffs her shoe against the ground and then shakes her head.
“So why don’t you go ask him to give it back to you? I’ll be watching if you need me, but before I get involved, you need to tell Ben it’s not okay to take your toys,” Luke says before pressing a kiss to her forehead.
“All right,” Beru says slowly, before walking over to Ben. They’re enough out of earshot that Luke can’t hear them, but it’s easy enough to sense Beru’s hesitation being replaced with resolve, and how she lifts her chin and speaks to Ben with a new kind of determination.
And it’s easy to sense Ben’s worry as he glances over at Luke. Luke just raises his eyebrows, and his nephew returns the model to Beru.
With a happy smile, Beru says something to Ben and they take off together, playing with the model.
“I wonder if I contributed anything to our daughter after all those hours of labor.”
Rising to his feet, Luke smiles widely at Mara and wraps an arm around her waist. “You contributed a lot, and you know it. After all, look at Beru at bedtime. Then she’s as stubborn as you are.”
Mara rolls her green eyes. “Lucky us.”
Most people would think his wife was being sarcastic. But Luke knows that sarcasm is just a thin layer on top of her happiness and gratitude, for how the Force has provided for them.
“Yeah, lucky us,” he says, kissing her cheek.
I've delivered us to where we are. I have journeyed farther. I am everything I've learned and more. Still it calls me.
