Does anyone else have a ship that they KNOW is TOXIC but you kinda ship them in a small 'what could have been' way?

Because that's the first half of D1 Ben/Audrey for me

I think its the background of them being childhood friends it just niggles in the back of my mind nowadays...if leah hadn't gotten in Audrey's head....how close did those two come to actually being a really sweet ship....

(Let me be VERY CLEAR I DO NOT condone/support any of audrey's actions towards Ben in D3! Touching Ben without his consent/inappropriately is NOT excusable!! My ship feelings for Berey/Lost Rose (Ben/audrey) are from D1 ONLY!!!!!)

Baring-Gould's dates are driving me up the wall again. I opened the Annotated to find out why the 'February' of Beryl Coronet has become December, and got a full column explaining that he could only find four days in the correct decade when it had snowed this much, and one of them was a Sunday which was obviously impossible for other reasons, and...

I mean, I can see why you'd use the weather to help draw conclusions, but after constructing a whole extra marriage for Watson just to get some married cases into 1887, why does he abandon Mary Morstan for the whole of 1890?

He accepts the standard 'put three cases in 1890' restriction, and then picks Wisteria Lodge, Silver Blaze, and Beryl Coronet. These aren't even ambiguously-married stories. WIST opens with Holmes and Watson at lunch in Baker Street, SILV has Watson sitting around for 'a whole day' while Holmes paces and tries to decide whether to take the case, and BERY has the two of them looking out of the window one morning when the client arrives. He puts them in March, September, and December.

What was the last case before 1890 started? Ah, Crooked Man, naturally. Which opens "a few months after my marriage" and is placed in September 1889. Absolute clown chronology

In case you're wondering, Prince Albert Edward, later Edward VII, did have money problems. He was not only living an extravagant lifestyle, he was having to do a lot of royal duties due to the effective retirement of his mother. He got money from Parliament for the latter, but arguably not enough and didn't want to ask for more as it would result in some awkward discussions re the former. The Prince of Wales does have a big personal estate called the Duchy of Cornwall, but income from the latter had dropped a fair bit due to an agricultural slump.

So, he borrowed from rich friends and twice used Sandringham - his personal property and still owned by Charles III outright - as collateral.

Two of his financial supporters - Rothschild and Hirsch - were Jewish and he rewarded their aid by inviting them into high society, which was pretty progressive in a time of rampant antisemitism.

It's not clear if he paid them back though.

De todas formas, es un dibujo hecho para mí, no esperaba nada para mi cumple y decidí mejorar en mis técnicas, salio bien, pero tengo que mejorar mucho por lo que no subiré mucho XD.

Dibuje a Venti y Hinata porque están entre mi día, y además de ser mis personajes favoritos <3, y a mis oc´s principales como extra uwu, eso es todo. Bonita nochee.
